René Patal

René Patal has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. René is currently working as the DevOps Team Lead at Rewardsweb, where they are responsible for the architecture and technical direction of the entire cloud infrastructure. In this role, they also design the infrastructure for developers to continuously build and deliver products. Prior to their current role, René worked as a Product Owner at Rewardsweb, where they collaborated with stakeholders and teams across the company to inform the product vision, strategy, and features. René supported the development team by gathering feature requests, creating user stories, and coordinating sprints. René also contributed to product design based on their extensive knowledge of the business, users, and technology.

Before joining Rewardsweb, René worked as a Back-End Developer at iguama, where they developed features and improvements for their back-end platform. René focused on developing high-quality software using micro-services and cloud architecture. René also collaborated with other departments to automate processes and provide data analysis when needed.

Prior to iguama, René worked as a Developer at Generali and as a Software Developer at Xerox. René started their career as an Analyst Systems at Registro Nacional de las Personas (RENAP).

René Patal completed their Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering at Universidad Rafael Landívar from 2005 to 2009.
