Previously, Markus held the position of General Manager for Strategic Development at Eurogroup Far East Ltd. from March 2008 to December 2011, where responsibilities included enhancing the sourcing and purchasing strategies of the REWE Group. Markus's career also includes various managerial roles at Otto GmbH from 1997 to 2007 across Turkey, India, and Germany. Markus holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Hamburg, obtained between 1992 and 1994.
