Alexa Montefiore

Alexa Montefiore currently serves as Chief of Staff at Re:wild, where the focus is on driving strategic initiatives and partnerships to enhance global conservation efforts. Previously, Alexa was the Chair of the Steering Committee for the Universal Ranger Support Alliance, representing the Wildlife Conservation Society. An extensive career at the Wildlife Conservation Society included roles such as Associate Director of Conservation Strategy & Partnerships and Senior Program Manager for the Americas Program, demonstrating a commitment to wildlife conservation. Other experience encompasses positions within the SMART Partnership and various roles at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide. Alexa holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Conservation from New York University and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from the University of Maryland.
