Ashley Brooks

Ashley Brooks possesses extensive experience in conservation and environmental management, currently serving as Asia Director at Re:wild since May 2023. Previously held the position of Asia Pacific Regional NCS Conservation Director at Conservation International from November 2021 to May 2023. With a significant tenure at WWF from September 2013 to November 2021, Ashley was a global thought leader in human wildlife conflict management and developed groundbreaking conservation strategies. Early career highlights include managing the Tree Kangaroo Conservation Program at the Woodland Park Zoo and completing pivotal projects with notable organizations such as IUCN and the University of Queensland. Ashley holds a PhD in Conservation from The University of Queensland and multiple advanced degrees in environmental fields from Victoria University, University of Melbourne, and Charles Darwin University.
