Julia Mata is a skilled conservation professional with extensive experience in rewilding and ecological research. Currently serving as the European Rewilding Network Coordinator at Rewilding Europe, Julia is responsible for organizing webinars and evaluating rewilding projects. Prior roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at Aarhus University, where Julia contributed to scientific papers on species impacts in rewilding sites and led fieldwork. Julia’s earlier experience includes being an Associate at Rewilding Europe and a PhD Fellow at Aarhus University, focusing on monitoring rewilding progress.
