Bouwe van der Wal is a data scientist currently employed at Rewire since March 2022. Previously, Bouwe worked as a freelancer at Malmberg, focusing on the digitalization of assessments for national language programs from May 2020 to December 2021. Bouwe participated in the Young Business Accelerator Program at Torqx Capital Partners in 2021, responsible for conducting an employee engagement survey and creating an interactive dashboard in R. Bouwe has experience in investment management as a member of Omega Investments at B&R Beurs Erasmus Investment Society and provided tutoring in mathematics and business research methods at TentamenTrainingen.nl. Bouwe also served as a mentor at Team050, supporting children with behavioral challenges in beta subjects. Bouwe holds a Master's degree in Econometrics & Management Science: Quantitative Finance from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Bachelor's degree in Econometrics & Operations Research from the University of Groningen. Additionally, Bouwe completed a minor in Innovation & Entrepreneurship and has a background in natural sciences from Praedinius Gymnasium.
