Alex Laskey

Alex Laskey has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Alex is the Founder and Executive Chair of Rewiring America since June 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Board Member at Arcadia starting in July 2018. In 2019, Alex joined the International Rescue Committee as a Board Member for Airbel Impact Labs. Additionally, they have been a Board Member at the Conservation Lands Foundation since November 2011.

Alex's significant career milestone was their tenure at OPOWER, where they served as the President and Founder. OPOWER, now part of Oracle Utilities, is a leading provider of cloud-based software for the utility industry. During their tenure from January 2007 to July 2017, Alex was recognized as a pioneer in new energy finance and played a pivotal role in driving the company's growth.

Before their time at OPOWER, Alex worked as a Research Analyst at Fairbank, Maslin, Maullin and Associates in 2006. Alex also gained valuable experience as a Campaign Manager at Janet Reilly for Assembly from June 2005 to June 2006 and at Nick Waugh for Supervisor from July 2004 to November 2004.

In the earlier stages of their career, Alex served as the Director of New Business at The Romann Group from January 2000 to June 2001. Alex also had the opportunity to work at The White House in Washington, D.C. in the role of Advance from 1999 to 2000.

Alex Laskey attended Roslyn High School from 1991 to 1995. Following their high school education, they enrolled at Harvard University and completed their studies there from 1995 to 1999. No specific degree or field of study was provided for either educational institution.
