Mark Harlacker

Mark Harlacker, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, has extensive experience in the waste management industry spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Senior Director at Reworld Waste since January 2021, Mark previously held significant roles at Covanta, including Business Director and Business Manager for the Mid-Atlantic Region from 2014 to 2024. Prior to that, Mark was Operations Manager at Empire Group and Environmental Management/Regional Landfill Operations Manager at Interstate Waste/Advanced Disposal Services, where responsibilities included managing multiple landfills and overseeing business development for acquisitions. Mark's career also features experience as Land Development Project Manager at Keystone Custom Homes and Regional Landfill Manager at Waste Management.
