Rowena Rico

Rowena Rico is a seasoned professional in waste management and material profiling with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Senior Material Profiling Specialist at Reworld Waste since March 2024, Rowena previously held the same title at Covanta from July 2017 to May 2024. Prior roles include various leadership and specialized positions at Stericycle from September 2008 to July 2017, such as Waste Characterization Supervisor and Sustainability Solutions Supervisor. Rowena began the professional journey with co-op experiences at Product Management Corp and Woolwich Dairy Inc., and served as a Technical Analyst for the Region of Peel from April 2000 to July 2006. Rowena holds an education from Sheridan College, completed between 2005 and 2008.
