Israa Mohamed is a computer science student at the University of Minnesota, expected to graduate in 2025. Currently involved with Rewriting the Code and serving as a MLT Career Prep Fellow with Management Leadership for Tomorrow, Israa has developed extensive experience in software engineering through internships, including positions at Target, U.S. Bank, Break Through Tech at Cornell Tech, and as a Bloomberg Tech Lab Fellow. Leadership roles include Vice President, Senator, and Program Zone Intern at the National Society of Black Engineers. Previous experience includes participation in the Girls Who Code programs as a Work Prep Participant and Leadership Academy Fellow. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota and a high school diploma from Eden Prairie Senior High School.
