Johan van Heerden

Johan Van Heerden is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering leadership and product development. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Engineering at Rewst since August 2025, Johan previously held the position of Vice President of Engineering at Nintex from October 2020 to August 2025, where responsibilities included overseeing a 50-member engineering team and the development of a widely utilized process automation platform. Prior to Nintex, Johan worked at K2 for over 15 years, starting as a software developer and advancing to Vice President of Worldwide Engineering, managing a large team and overseeing all phases of R&D for the company's cloud-based product portfolio. Early career experience includes a role as Software Engineer and IT Administrator at Mayibuye Group. Johan holds a Post-Graduate Degree in Informatics and a BCom in Financial Management from the University of Pretoria.
