Burke Dickens

Burke Dickens, MSN, AGNP-BC, has extensive experience in the nursing field, particularly in cardiology. Since May 2015, Burke has served as a Nurse Practitioner at Rex Healthcare, focusing on the inpatient cardiology patient population. Prior to this role, Burke worked at Duke University Medical Center as a Registered Nurse from March 2013 to May 2015, where responsibilities included specializing in Cardiac Intensive Care and taking on leadership roles such as charge nurse and preceptor. Earlier experience includes a position at Mission Hospital in a 10-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and a previous tenure at Duke University Medical Center. Burke holds a Master of Science in Adult Health Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Duke University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Appalachian State University.
