Tyler Watters

Tyler Watters, MD MBA, serves as President and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Raleigh Orthopaedic since August 2016, alongside roles at UNC REX Healthcare as Medical Director of the Orthopaedic Service Line and Chair of the Department of Orthopaedics. Additional responsibilities include being a Principal at North Mountain Ventures and Chairman of the Board at Raleigh Orthopaedic Surgery Center. Tyler co-founded Invictus Pharmaceuticals and completed an Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at Colorado Joint Replacement. Medical training includes an Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Duke University Health System, complemented by a Doctor of Medicine from Duke University School of Medicine and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. A Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies was obtained from Pepperdine University.
