John Balasbas is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, following an Associate of Science from Elgin Community College. They are a Computer Science Instructor at Rex K-12, where they teach Intro to Web Design to middle school students. Previously, John worked as a tutor at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, assisting fellow students in academic subjects and study habits. Passionate about both object-oriented and functional programming, John is actively seeking a Computer Science or Software Engineering internship starting in the summer of 2025.
