Rashid Maqsood

Rashid Maqsood has extensive experience in treasury and financial planning roles. Rashid served as Vice President of Treasury at Rexel North America, Rexel Canada, and Rexel Canada Electrical Inc., starting in 1992. Prior to this, they worked as the Treasurer at VIA Rail Canada from 1982 to 1991. Rashid also held a position as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Canada Ports Corporation from 1979 to 1981.

Rashid Maqsood completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University in 1972. Rashid then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting and Finance from Western University, which they completed in 1978. In 2015, they obtained a certification as a Certified Treasury Professional from the Association for Financial Professionals.
