Orla Matthews

Orla Matthews has extensive experience in finance and accounting, starting as a Trainee Accountant at Bermingham Condron Accountants in 2001. Orla then worked at Scottish Equitable International as an Assistant Accountant and later at Glenkerrin Group as a Management Accountant in the Property & Construction sector. Orla's career progressed to roles such as Financial Controller and Finance Director at TheIrishStore.com & GiftsDirect.com, where they focused on strategy, budgeting, cash flow management, and audit. Orla joined Roomex in 2018 as the Director of Finance Transformation & Controllership, responsible for implementing a new Finance System (NetSuite). Currently, Orla serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Rexel Energy Solutions in Ireland.

Orla Matthews completed a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce from Technological University Dublin in 2001 before pursuing a certification in Taxation (AITI) from the Irish Taxation Institute in 2008. Orla then obtained their ACCA qualification in 2005 from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. In 2014-2015, Orla attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business to earn a degree in Strategic Leadership for CFO's.
