Ingvar Stefánsson is the Chief Financial Officer. He has a B.Sc. degree in business in auditing and a masters degree in finance and management and has a broad track record in business management. He was the human resources director of ESSO Iceland for eight years, head of the corporate division at Olíufélagið for four years, a managing director of a subsidiary of Lyfja og heilsa for two years, lecturer at the Bifröst University in finance, negotiating techniques, management and policy making, in addition to holding other posts and finally becoming CEO and managing director of Íslandsbanki’s financing division, a forty employee unit within the bank until 2011 when Ingvar started to work at Reykjavik Energy.
