Patrick Messick

Patrick Messick has extensive work experience in the tax industry. Patrick began their career at Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1995 and worked as a Tax Manager until 2002. Patrick then transitioned to BDO Seidman, where they continued their role as a Tax Manager until 2005. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Tax Consultant at Jefferson Wells. In 2007, they joined Reynolds American Inc. as a Director of Income Tax, and later advanced to the role of Senior Director. Patrick has been with Reynolds American Inc. since 2014.

Patrick Messick received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1994. Patrick then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Accounting from the same university, which they completed in 1995. In 1998, Patrick obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant from the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners.
