Rebecca Edwards

Rebecca Edwards has a wealth of experience in marketing and event management. Rebecca began their career in 2004 as an Account Planner at Chrysalis Radio, where they were responsible for developing new clients, qualifying potential business, and researching and preparing presentations. In 2006, they moved to GCap Media, where they held the roles of Sponsorship and Promotions Project Manager for 2tenfm/Heart and Charity Manager for 2tenfm. In 2008, they joined Sungard Availability Services as a Marketing Executive, where they were accountable for email campaigns, website activity, and event management. In 2011, Rebecca began working at Lumen Technologies as a Customer Marketing Manager and Marketing Manager: Events & Communications, where they were responsible for overseeing external and internal customer programmes, programme strategy, and the execution of events. In 2014, they started their own business, Rebecca Amy Elizabeth - Wedding Planner, providing wedding planning services in Berkshire and surrounding areas. Most recently, in 2022, Rebecca began working at Rezatec as the Marketing Programs Manager.

Rebecca Edwards began their educational journey in 1994, when they attended Kendrick Grammar School and earned their GCSE's with 10 grades ranging from A* to C, including Mathematics, English and Science. Rebecca then continued their studies at the same school from 1999-2001, earning their A Levels in English, Sociology and French. In 2001, they enrolled at Trinity and All Saints, University of Leeds and graduated in 2004 with a BA in Media and Sociology. In 2014, they completed a Diploma in Wedding Planning and Management from UKAWP. In 2017, they began their studies at CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing and earned their Professional Certificate in Marketing in 2019. Rebecca is currently enrolled at North Lindsey College, where they are working towards an NCFE CACHE Level 2 certificate in Understanding Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health Advocacy in the Workplace.
