Maciej Borowik has a range of work experiences in various industries and roles. Starting in 2010, they had an internship at IBM, where they gained experience in processing information in dynamic web applications and programming relational databases. In 2011, they worked as an intern at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland. Later that year, they took on a role as a factory worker at Automotive Assembly Systems until 2012 when they had an engineering internship at KIMLA. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as an Automation Specialist at Lift-System, where they designed and programmed controllers for elevators and platforms. Maciej then had a short experience as a junior mould constructor at KlimekPlast before joining Capgemini in 2016 as a Java Software Developer. At Capgemini, they delivered software requirements according to best programming practices with a focus on microservices and monolithic architecture. In 2020, they moved to Wontok as a Java Backend Developer, where they performed developer and devOps tasks in an AWS environment, implemented and refactored codebase, and introduced standardized application frameworks. Their most recent position, as of 2021, is at Rezdy, where they work as a Software Engineer, implementing features, optimizing performance in an AWS environment, and refactoring codebase.

Maciej Borowik obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology from 2007 to 2011. Maciej then pursued their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same university for the duration of 2011 to 2013. Following that, they continued their education at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology and completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from 2012 to 2014.
