Russell Santiago

Russell Santiago has a solid background in accounting and finance. Russell started their career at EY, where they worked as a Staff Assurance from October 2012 to September 2014. Russell gained experience working on engagement teams for both public and private clients in various industries, including pharmaceutical and biotech. Russell'sresponsibilities included performing audit procedures, testing controls, and assisting with audit planning and execution.

Following their time at EY, Santiago transitioned to Rezolute, Inc. in September 2017, where they held several roles. Russell started as a Senior Accountant before being promoted to Accounting Manager in September 2018. In this position, they were responsible for various accounting duties, including preparing financial reports and statements, researching technical accounting matters, and coordinating the monthly and quarterly close process. Russell also supported the company's equity financings and up-listing to NASDAQ. Additionally, Santiago helped with human resources tasks such as PTO review, onboarding/termination processes, and payroll processing.

Most recently, Santiago served as the Senior Manager of Accounting at Rezolute, Inc. from January 2021 to July 2022. In this role, they further advanced their responsibilities and expertise in accounting, including leading the preparation of financial reports and filings in compliance with accounting standards, managing vendor relationships, and facilitating relationships with external auditors and insurance brokers.

Russell Santiago completed their education at two different institutions. Russell attended North Rockland High School from 2004 to 2008, where they pursued advanced regents coursework. After graduating from high school, they went on to pursue higher education at Quinnipiac University. From 2008 to 2012, Russell studied at Quinnipiac University and earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting.
