Emmanuel Akapo

Emmanuel Akapo has a strong background in RF engineering, with experience at multiple companies. Emmanuel began their career at Nexgen Wireless, Inc. in 2012 as an RF Engineer, where they worked until 2014. Emmanuel then joined CommScope as an RF Systems Engineer for Distributive Antenna Systems from 2014 to 2018. In 2018, Akapo moved on to ExteNet Systems, Inc. as an RF Engineer until 2019. Currently, they are employed as an RF Field Engineer at RF Connect.

Emmanuel Akapo attended the University of Illinois Chicago from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician.

In terms of additional certifications, Emmanuel obtained the Corning One Level 1&2 DAS certification from Corning Incorporated in May 2020. Emmanuel also obtained the SOLiD Product Certification from SOLiD, the ADRF PSR-78-8527 certification from ADRF (Advanced RF Technologies Inc.), the Era & ION-E Installation & Commissioning certification from CommScope, and the TEKO DAS Installation and Commissioning certification from JMA Wireless, all in March 2022.

Prior to that, Emmanuel obtained the PIM/VSWR Certification, the Certified Fiber Optics Infrastructure Specialist (CFOIS) certification, and the Certified RF Wireless Infrastructure Specialist (CRWIS) certification from CommScope in July 2018 and May 2018, respectively.
