Bryan Szendel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Beginning in 2009, they worked as a Customer Service Staff member at Publix Super Markets, where they excelled in front-end operations and customer service. In 2011, Bryan joined City Church Tallahassee as the First Impressions Director, overseeing the development of the First Impressions/Guest Services team and coordinating operations for guest services and other areas. Bryan then took on the role of Youth Director, where they played an instrumental role in the development and growth of the middle and high school ministry. In 2014, Bryan became the City Groups Director and was responsible for the strategy and leadership development of the small group ministry.
From 2016 to 2019, Bryan worked at Church Community Builder as a Technical Support and Software Guidance, providing technical assistance and guidance to clients. In 2019, they joined Connect Our Kids as a React Native Developer, contributing to the development of their React Native codebase and introducing new features.
In 2020, Bryan joined Big Armor as a Software Developer, specializing in full-stack software development using technologies such as Node.js, Apollo GraphQL, and Angular. Bryan also gained project management experience. Bryan later became the Lead Software Developer, taking on additional responsibilities until July 2022.
Most recently, Bryan began working as a JavaScript Application Developer II at RF-SMART in 2022.
Bryan Szendel began their education at Florida State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies. Bryan successfully completed their undergraduate studies from 2008 to 2012.
Afterward, Bryan continued their educational journey by enrolling in The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Bryan obtained their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Theology/Theological Studies, completing their studies between 2012 and 2016.
Recently, in 2019, Bryan attended BloomTech to gain knowledge in Full-Stack Web Development, which they pursued until 2020. Additionally, Bryan obtained a certification in Full-Stack Web Development + Technical Interviewing from Lambda School in August 2020.
