Chris Mailander has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Chris is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Ironheart Corporate Advisory, a position they have held since March 2016. In addition to their CEO role, they have also authored two books, "Judgment: The Art of Momentous Decision-Making" and "The Craft: Unlocking Exponential Financial Value".
Since joining Vu Partners LLC in 2019, Chris has served as a Managing Director. Chris also holds positions at NewMile, where they are a Strategic Advisor & Board Member since November 2021, and was previously the Interim CEO from March 2022 to September 2022.
Chris's experience in corporate development and partnerships can be seen through their role as the Head of Corporate Development and Partnerships at RF-SMART, a division of ICS, starting in May 2020.
Chris'sinvolvement in advisory roles includes being a member of the Advisory Board at Medici since December 2020 and serving on the Advisory Board of The Climate Service from June 2018 to December 2021, following its acquisition by S&P Global.
Chris has also had board memberships at Atlas Organics, Inc. from February 2016 to December 2021, before its acquisition by Generate Capital.
Earlier in their career, Chris was the President & CEO of Health Access Solutions from June 2015 to March 2016. Chris also held the position of Chief Corporate Affairs Officer from August 2012 to June 2015.
Prior to these roles, Chris worked at Mailander & Company, LLC as the Managing Director specializing in corporate strategy and buy-side M&A for international private equity investors. Chris managed public-private programs to monetize scarce national resources, including wireless spectrum and oil, before leaving in August 2012.
Before joining Mailander & Company, LLC, Chris was a Senior Director at BearingPoint, where they founded the managed services business unit within the global management consulting and systems integrator company. Chris received the Innovators Award during their time at BearingPoint.
Chris Mailander attended the Georgetown University Law Center from 1996 to 1998, where they earned an LL.M degree with honors in Securities & Financial Regulation.
