Ryan Gillette

Ryan Gillette has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and cloud engineering. Ryan most recently worked as a Cloud Engineer at RF-SMART starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they held a similar position at InfusionPoints, LLC from September 2020 to September 2022. Before focusing on cloud engineering, Ryan worked as a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer at 2nd Watch from April 2016 to August 2020. Ryan also gained experience as a Unix System Administrator at Areva from March 2015 to March 2016 and as a Datacenter Technician at Amazon from December 2014 to February 2015. Earlier in their career, Ryan worked as a System Administrator at Ross Technologies, RTGX from April 2013 to November 2014. Ryan started their professional journey as a Desktop Support Analyst at the U.S. Coast Guard from April 2012 to April 2013 and later held the same role at Husch Blackwell from February 2011 to February 2012.

Ryan Gillette attended Missouri Tech from 2012 to 2015, where they studied Network and System Administration/Administrator. Ryan has also obtained several certifications, including Managing Applications and Infrastructure with Terraform from Linux Academy in February 2019, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2019, AWS Certified Developer - Associate from AWS in October 2017, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Level from AWS in February 2017. In addition, they have completed various online courses and certifications related to DevOps, Python 3 on Linux, Linux LPIC Level 1 Exam 1, and Linux Essentials, all from LinuxAcademy.com.
