Nishanth GR has extensive work experience in the chemical and research industries. Nishanth started their career as an Internship Trainee at SPIC in 2016. Nishanth then worked as a Project Assistant at CSIR CECRI Madras Unit from 2018 to 2020. Nishanth then joined Central Electrochemical Research Institute (cecri) as a Project Associate from 2021 to 2022. Nishanth then worked as an Executive Trainee - Process at MOIL LIMITED for a brief period in 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Management Trainee (Chemical) at RAMAGUNDAM FERTILIZERS AND CHEMICALS LIMITED. Additionally, they also hold the role of Engineer (Production) at the same company.

Nishanth GR's education history begins with their completion of High School/Secondary Certificate Programs at GOOD SHEPHERD HS SCHOOL, Marthandam from 2011 to 2013. After that, they pursued a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Chemical Engineering at Anna University from 2013 to 2017. In 2018 and 2019, Nishanth obtained a PG Diploma in Industrial Safety from Annamalai University.

In addition to their formal education, Nishanth has obtained various certifications. They completed the "Innovation and Start-up Policy" certification from IILM in July 2021. In November 2020, they acquired the "Manufacturing Competitiveness" certification from the Quality Council of India (QCI). Nishanth also completed the "The Complete AutoCAD 2018-21 Course" certification from Udemy in August 2020 and the "Road-map for Patent Creation" certification from NPTEL in June 2020. Other certifications include "AutoCAD 2D and 3D Practice Drawings" (February 2020) from Udemy, "OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT" (December 2019) from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, and "Simulation of Chemical Engineering Processes using COCO" (December 2019) from Udemy. Additionally, Nishanth has successfully completed the GATE exams in 2018, 2019, and 2021 from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, respectively.
