Mengwen Tu

MENGWEN TU is a seasoned regulatory technologist at RFI Ingredients since March 2015, bringing a robust background in food safety and technology. Previous experience includes a research assistant role at the FDA, contributing to the "Leafy Green" project, and a research assistant position at the IIT Institute for Food Safety and Health, focusing on fat extraction and fatty acid distribution analysis using GC-MS. MENGWEN TU also served as a project assistant, enhancing food business development resources, and as a graduate teaching assistant in food processing and engineering. Prior experience as a research scientist at Jilin University highlights leadership in innovative food projects and performance testing encompassing nutritional analysis. MENGWEN TU holds a Master's degree in food safety and technology from Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Engineering from Jilin University.
