Prashant Buyyala has extensive experience in the animation and visual effects industry. Prashant started their career at Rhythm & Hues Studios, where they served as the Managing Director and played a key role in building and managing international studios in India, Malaysia, and Taiwan. Prashant also worked as the Managing Director of Rhythm & Hues India Pvt. Ltd., leading the establishment and successful operation of the first international VFX studio in India.
Prashant later joined East Grand Films, a film fund focused on co-financing computer animation and VFX-driven Hollywood feature films. Prashant contributed to the fund's vision, wrote the business plan, built financial models, and successfully raised funds for the project.
Prashant also served as the General Manager of CAVE, a joint venture between Rhythm & Hues and Chungwha Telecom. Prashant played a crucial role in setting up a cloud computing service platform for the entertainment industry, executing VFX projects remotely and providing services for Academy Award-winning films.
Prashant's experience also includes working at Pearl Studio as a Strategic Advisor and Consultant, where they contributed to the development of a world-class computer animation studio in Shanghai. Prashant later became the Head of Animation Studio at Pearl Studio, leading a team in the successful delivery of the co-production film Kung Fu Panda 3 with DreamWorks Animation.
In their most recent role, Prashant became the CEO of RFX INC's Virtual Infrastructure division, where they provide a powerful turnkey virtual studio for digital artist teams to create and collaborate on animation and VFX projects. Prashant'sresponsibilities include managing the customizable production studio infrastructure and offering white-glove services to creative teams.

Prashant Buyyala pursued their education with a degree in Physics and Economics, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a double major from Occidental College between the years 1991 and 1995. Following this, they went on to Stanford University from 1995 to 1996, where they completed a Master's degree in Engineering Economic Systems.
