Denise Gonzalez Garza

Denise Gonzalez Garza serves as the Director of Global Treasury and Executive Director of Derivative Operations at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated since February 2013, where responsibilities include overseeing collateral management and presenting derivatives reports to the Derivatives Risk Oversight Committee. Previously, Denise held the role of Senior Analyst in Trade Operations Derivatives, managing collateral processes for futures trading. Prior experience also includes serving as Investment and Derivatives Manager at Primero Fianzas y Primero Seguros, implementing strategies for a $100 million portfolio, and working in Risk Management (Derivatives) at FEMSA, focusing on hedge strategies for various commodities. Denise began a career in finance with an internship at Cervecería Cuauhtémoc-Moctezuma and holds a Master’s degree in International Finances from Universidad de Chile and a Bachelor’s degree in International Finances from Universidad de Monterrey.
