Peter Banthorpe has extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance sectors, currently serving as Deputy Chief Risk Officer at Reinsurance Group of America since October 2010, where additional roles have included Managing Director for the UK and Ireland, and Global Head of Research and Development. Prior to this, Peter held the position of Head of Pricing and Reinsurance at Fortis Life UK from March 2007 to October 2010, and worked as a Business Development Actuary and Pricing Actuary at Munich Re UK Life Branch from 2002 to 2007. Early in the career, Peter was an Actuarial Analyst at Mercer Human Resource Consulting from September 1999 to October 2002. Peter is an alumnus of the University of Cambridge, where studies were completed between 1996 and 1999.
