Vera Bastheim

Vera Bastheim is a Senior Actuary in Business Development at RGA International Reinsurance, a position held since 2011. Prior to this, they gained experience at Deloitte Deutschland as a Manager from 2001 to 2011, and worked as a Marketing Actuary at Swiss Re from 1997 to 2001. Their early career included roles as a Werkstudentin at HDI Group in 1995 and an internship at Debeka in 1996, alongside completing their training as an insurance clerk at ERGO Versicherungsgruppe AG from 1989 to 1991. Vera holds a degree from the Universität zu Köln, where they studied from 1991 to 1997.
