Andrew Gillis has over 30 years of work experience in the engineering and computer science fields. Andrew began their career in 1991 at Computer Sciences Raytheon as a Computer Scientist, where they performed various roles including lead master controller, analyst, software engineer, and task leader. Andrew then joined Exelis in 2001 as a Senior Engineer, where they supported the Space Lift Range Services Contract and held technical lead responsibilities in hardware, software, and network engineering. Since 2015, Andrew has been working at RGNext as a Senior Principal Engineer, providing ongoing support to the LTRS Integrated Support Contract and serving as the technical lead and integration manager for the Range Communications Facility at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Andrew'sexpertise includes all phases of product lifecycle, project management, and subject matter expertise in operations and maintenance efforts.

Andrew Gillis began their education in 1984 at UMass Boston, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering Physics, which they completed in 1989. Following this, from 1989 to 1991, Gillis engaged in graduate work at UMass Boston, focusing on Applied Physics. In 2003, they attended the Florida Medical Training Institute in Melbourne, FL, where they obtained a certification as an Emergency Medical Technician - Basic. Gillis further expanded their education in 2009 by attending the Florida State Fire College, where they earned a certification as a Firefighter 1. Additionally, in May 2016, Gillis obtained a certification in CompTIA Security+ ce from CompTIA.
