Israel Schallheim is an experienced algorithm researcher currently enhancing core components of RGo Robotics' visual SLAM product and developing 2D/3D mapping capabilities utilizing stereo vision. Prior experience includes serving as a robotics projects supervisor at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, leading undergraduate projects in sensory motor integration and autonomous driving, and occupying various roles at Elbit Systems Ltd, from lead robotics algorithms engineer focusing on perception algorithms for autonomous vehicles to control algorithms engineer for unmanned ground vehicles. Israel's academic background includes a Master's Degree in Robotics Dynamics and Control and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both obtained from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
