Becky Wilson

Becky Wilson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in applied science and engineering disciplines. Currently serving as a Venture Associate at Rhapsody Venture Partners since May 2021, Wilson focuses on investing in and supporting startups in various industrial sectors, including climate tech and biotech. Previously, Wilson held the position of Director of Materials Engineering at Primitives Biodesign, where efforts centered on engineering biomaterials to reduce food waste and plastic pollution. Academic contributions include a Chemical Engineering Research Assistant role at the University of Southern California, participation in collaborative research at the Université de Strasbourg, and founding AesculaTech, where Wilson focused on developing polymer hydrogels for drug delivery. Wilson's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California, along with a Graduate Certificate in Business and Sustainability.
