Ganesh Sabaratnam

Ganesh Sabaratnam is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of RHB Investment Bank Group, overseeing regional investment banking operations across Southeast Asia since July 2021. With a staff strength of approximately 1,600, Ganesh manages diverse business pillars, including client coverage, capital markets advisory, and asset management. Prior to this role, Ganesh served as a Partner and Executive Board Director at Grant Thornton Singapore, providing corporate finance advisory services, and held the position of Senior Partner at Oxley Capital Partners. Ganesh's extensive experience in investment banking includes leadership roles at Barclays Bank Plc, Credit Suisse, Rabobank, Deutsche Bank, and Bank of America. Ganesh holds an M.Sc in Finance from the University of London and a joint honors degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Economics from the University of Birmingham.
