Johnny Lam

Johnny Lam is the Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking at RHB Banking Group, a position held since 2014, overseeing the Investment Banking business in Hong Kong and China. Previously, Johnny served as Senior Director of M&A at Walmart China from 2009 to 2013, where responsibilities included the origination and execution of corporate M&A transactions. Earlier roles included Director of Investment Banking at HSBC (2004-2008), Manager of Corporate Finance at Core Pacific - Yamaichi (2002-2004), and Associate in Corporate Finance at BNP Paribas (1999-2002). Johnny holds an MBA in Finance from McGill University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from The University of Hong Kong, along with being an alumnus of Diocesan Boys' School.
