Hector H. Perez

Hector H. Perez is a highly experienced software engineer and project manager with a comprehensive background in aerospace and data archiving projects. Currently serving as Software Work Area Manager for Starion Group at the European Space Astronomy Centre (ESAC) since July 2017, Hector manages a team of 37 members and previously held roles as Software Technical Lead and Senior Project Engineer, focusing on Heliophysics mission science data archives. Prior experience includes positions at GMV as Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager, where Hector managed projects for the European Space Agency (ESA), along with earlier roles as Project Engineer at GMV and CERFACS, contributing to software architecture and oceanographic modeling. Hector holds a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
