Rhea Space Activity
Shawn Usman is an astrophysicist and the founder of Rhea Space Activity (RSA), a start-up company in the science and technology industry. RSA focuses on developing high-risk/high-reward research and development concepts to support the United States. Prior to founding RSA, Usman worked as a scientist in the United States Intelligence Community from 2007 to 2018.
Shawn Usman obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Purdue University, where they attended from 2002 to 2006. Shawn went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Applied Physics at The Johns Hopkins University, completing it from 2010 to 2011.

RSA has developed various technologies in the fields of infrared satellites, directed energy, artificial intelligence,LIDAR, astroparticle physics, small satellites, cislunar operations, intelligence collection, autonomous underwater vehicles, and the F35 Lightning II.
