Sudipta Jena

Sudipta Jena is an R&D Design Engineer specializing in Heat Pump technology at Rheem Australia since April 2021, contributing to the design, prototyping, and testing of Heat Pump Water Heaters. Previous roles include a Design and Manufacturing Engineer focused on engineering modifications and developing new heat pump designs, as well as a Store Team Member at Coles and an Electronic Value-Recovery Specialist at TES – Sustainable Technology Solutions, where asset recycling was emphasized. Sudipta's early experience includes assisting in missile part design at Bharat Forge Ltd and participating in an internship at the Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL) focused on aerodynamic modeling. Sudipta holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from UNSW and a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
