Ahmed Elleithy

Ahmed Elleithy is a skilled Mechanical System Engineer currently employed at Rheinmetall since February 2023. Previously, Ahmed worked at GE Renewable Energy from October 2019 to January 2023 as a Lead Drivetrain Design Engineer, where responsibilities included the development of passive cooling systems, drivetrain testing and validation, and leading diverse design aspects for the Cypress gearbox. Prior roles included Gearbox Design Engineer positions at Senvion GmbH and GE Renewable Energy, focusing on gearbox development, certification processes, and load assessment tools. Ahmed also has experience as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the German University in Cairo and served as a Technical Office Engineer in the Egyptian Armed Forces. Ahmed holds a Master's degree in Wind Engineering from Hochschule Flensburg and a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics from the German University in Cairo.
