Carsten Dobreva-Nielsen

Carsten Dobreva-Nielsen is an experienced systems engineer specializing in aerospace and defense technologies, currently working at Rheinmetall as a System Engineer in Drone Development since December 2023. Prior roles include significant contributions at HENSOLDT as Systems Engineer for IFF Customizing, with responsibilities in requirement definition and system analysis, and as Senior System Engineer managing Secondary Surveillance Radar projects using Agile methodologies. Dobreva-Nielsen has previously held positions at Mynaric focusing on space-based laser communication terminals and served in various engineering capacities at DLR GfR, OHB System, and the European Space Agency.
