Michael Richards

Michael Richards has over 17 years of experience in the defense industry. Michael is currently employed as a Lead Engineer at Rheinmetall Defence, a position they have held since April 2017. Prior to this role, Michael worked at General Dynamics UK Limited as a Lead Survivability Engineer for almost a decade. Michael also served as a Senior Research Scientist at Dstl from October 2006 to February 2008, and as a Capability Group Leader Light Armour at QinetiQ from January 2001 to October 2006.

Michael Richards attended Cottingham High School from 1986 to 1993. Michael did not obtain any specific degree or field of study during this time. Following their high school education, they went on to study at The University of Sheffield from 1993 to 1997. During their time at university, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Materials Science.
