Paul Thim

Paul Thim has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Paul began their career at AUDI AG as a Student Internship in 2012. Paul then moved on to Liebherr Aerospace, where they worked in After Sales from 2014 to 2016. After that, they joined iFAKT GmbH as an IT Consultant from 2016 to 2018. Currently, Paul is working at Rheinmetall, where they started as a Team Leader - Shopfloor IT in 2018 and later became the Vice President - Shopfloor Applications in 2021. In their role at Rheinmetall, they manage the department responsible for production-related applications and oversees the application management and development teams.

Paul Thim has a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen) from Hochschule Heilbronn - Hochschule für Technik, Wirtschaft und Informatik, which they completed from 2010 to 2014. Before that, they attended Technisches Gymnasium Öhringen and obtained their Abitur in Information Technology from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, Paul Thim has obtained several certifications including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the International Association for Six Sigma Certification in January 2020, Machine Learning - Python & R for Data Science from Udemy in August 2019, ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in May 2019, Sales and Key Account Management from mtec-akademie | Management & Technologie Akademie GmbH in April 2018, Professional Scrum Master from Scrum.org in March 2018, Financial Engineering and Risk Management from Coursera in December 2017, and Foundations of Reliability Engineering Data Analysis and Modeling from ReliaSoft Software in May 2015.
