Nabil Chaib Draa

Nabil Chaib Draa has a strong background in project management and research analysis. Nabil started their career in 2013, working as a Project Manager at Fondation RHA. Nabil then moved on to Groupe ORVERT in 2014 as a Project Manager, followed by La Ferme d'insectes, where they held the same role. In 2016, Nabil joined the Canadian Centre for International Political Economy as a Research Analyst, where they codified a codebook for environmental treaties using NVIVO and analyzed data using R.

In 2018, Nabil co-founded Hexapoda and served as the President until 2023. During this time, they were also a Strategic Business Director at Livup Smoothies and a Permits Supervisor at Permits Canada.

In 2022, Nabil co-founded Vetiver sans frontières and became the President of the organization. Nabil is currently working as a Data Quality Analyst at Rhetorik since 2023 and has also worked as a Web Development Intern at Clean Code.

Nabil Chaib Draa obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Affaires Publiques from Université Laval, which they completed between the years 2008 and 2011. Nabil also holds additional certifications in various fields, including front-end app development with React, SQL and database development with Django, Node and Express Essentials, Python for Data Science and AI, front-end development with React, Google Data Analytics, and code foundations. These certifications were obtained between the years 2021 and 2023 from institutions such as Codecademy, IBM Skills Network, and Google. Furthermore, Nabil Chaib Draa earned a Certificat de Cours Certifié en Permaculture from Fondation RHA in August 2013.
