Dalton Hirata

Dalton Hirata is an experienced tax professional currently serving as Head of Corporate Tax Governance and M&A at RHI Magnesita since September 2019, where responsibilities include managing quarterly tax closings and group tax risk for audits and disclosures. Previously, Dalton worked as a Group Tax Expert at Baker McKenzie, assisting multinational companies with international taxation issues and drafting legal opinions related to corporate restructuring. Prior experiences include serving as an Associate in Tax Law at Trench Rossi Watanabe, a Teaching Assistant at the International Tax Center Leiden, and conducting research at Núcleo de Estudos Fiscais. Dalton holds a Master of Laws in International Taxation from Leiden University and a Master of Laws in Tax Law from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, complemented by a Law degree from FGV and an exchange program at Northwestern University.
