Stefan Borgas

Stefan Borgas is the current CEO at RHI Magnesita. Stefan has over 30 years of experience in the process industries, with a focus on leadership coaching, change management and global business management. Prior to their current role, Stefan was the President & CEO of ICL Group from 2012 to 2016, and a Board Member (non exec) of Syngenta from 2009 to 2017. From 2004 to 2012, they were the CEO of Lonza: A Global Leader In Life Sciences. Prior to that, they held various positions at BASF from 1990 to 2004, including roles in Fine Chemicals & Plastics.

Stefan Borgas has a Lic Oec HSG from the University of St.Gallen in the field of Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Stefan also has a Vordiplom from Universität des Saarlandes.
