Rhinegeist Brewery
Ross McAllister has a diverse work experience, starting in 2010 as a Digital Media Specialist and Sound Designer at Curtis Inc. Visual Communications. Ross played multiple roles within the company including sound designer, video editor, videographer, producer, production specialist, and location audio director. In 2015, Ross joined Rhinegeist Brewery as a Sales Manager, and later advanced to the role of Sales Team Lead in 2018. Currently, they hold the position of General Sales Manager at Rhinegeist Brewery since September 2022.
Ross McAllister obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Electronic Media from the University of Cincinnati, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Ross McAllister also holds a certification as a Certified Cicerone® from the Cicerone® Certification Program, which they obtained in April 2017.

Rhinegeist Brewery was founded in 2013. Its name translates to “Ghost of the Rhine” and refers to its location in the historic Over-the-Rhine Brewery District in Cincinnati, Ohio. Located in the skeleton of an old brewery built before Prohibition, Rhinegeist aims to brew beers that sing with flavor. The Rhinegeist team believes in the power of beer to bring great people together, foment fantastic ideas, and build a community that values craft beer and one another.
