Alicia Hannigan, LCMHC

Alicia Hannigan, LCMHC has a diverse work experience. Alicia began their career in 2013 as an Editorial Intern at Business NH Magazine. In 2014, they worked as a Child Care Intern at the National Head Start Association and as a Group Counselor at Direction Behavioral Health Associates, LLC. In 2015, they were an Academic Advising Office Intern at Southern New Hampshire University. In 2017, they were a Graduate Clinical Intern at Triumph Center Inc. and a Crisis Clinician Intern at Eliot Community Human Services. From 2018-2021, they were an On Campus Adjunct Professor at Southern New Hampshire University, a Mental Health Counselor at The Center for Expressive Arts, Therapy and Education, and a Clinical Media Manager and Professional Consultant at Rhithm. In 2021, they became the Business Owner and Therapist of Hannigan Counseling Center, PLLC, a family-run practice devoted to the mental health care of individuals and their families.

Alicia Hannigan, LCMHC obtained a double degree with a BA in Psychology and BA in Child Development, with a minor in Art Theirtory from Southern New Hampshire University in 2016, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University Honors Program. Alicia then went on to earn a Masters in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine in 2018. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from the Gottman Institute Inc for Gottman Couples Counseling Level 1, and from the State of New Hampshire for Justice of the Peace.
