Toby Parkes

Toby Parkes has a diverse work experience, starting as a student at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, where they focused on seed biology and developed viability tests for seed collection. Toby then pursued a PHD at the University of Bath, researching molecular plant pathology and specifically studying the plant immune system. After completing their PHD, Toby joined Deep Science Ventures as a Founding Analyst, where they critically analyzed the indoor farming and greenhouse sector, exploring various growing techniques and technologies. Currently, they are the Founder and CEO of Rhizocore Technologies, a position they assumed in 2021.

Toby Parkes pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a focus on Plant Sciences from the University of Bath between the years 2012 and 2016.
