Haley Clark is a dedicated researcher and educator currently serving as a Research Assistant in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology and Biochemistry at Brown University since September 2015, focusing on the impact of nitrogen mustard on mitochondrial dysfunction in reproductive systems. In addition to research, Haley holds the position of Head Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for the Principles of Physiology course, where preparation of pre-lab lectures and lab management are key responsibilities. Haley also works as a Medical Scribe at the Rhode Island Free Clinic, enhancing patient care by documenting health provider notes. As Vice Chair of the Musical Forum at Brown University, Haley actively contributes to the student-run musical theater group. Previous experiences include a Summer Research Student role at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and a Research Assistant position at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Haley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Brown University in 2018 and has earlier experience in customer service and internships related to healthcare.

Rhode Island Free Clinic
The mission of Rhode Island Free Clinic is to provide free, comprehensive medical care and preventive health services to low-income adults in Rhode Island who do not have health insurance and cannot afford those services. Toward this goal, the Clinic will be staffed by volunteers, and will also serve an education role for trainees in health care fields, providing services under the supervision of clinicians from leading academic institutions in Rhode Island.
